You'll be pleased to learn that it will only be for a few days though.
Late flight tonight to KL until return early Saturday.
Al Ain Amblers U16s Rugby Tour (I don't remember going any further than Southport in my day). These kids are spoiled rotten. Not only do they get a fantastic tour, complete with shirts, bags etc; but all of their coaches are former military men (1 x SA Recce Commando, 1 x Ozzy Forces, 2 x RM), so they get to march everywhere as well! Quite a few of the kids are the offspring of the military types out here as well.
Hopefully, during my absence, you will still feel my presence. If you do need to contact me, use sub-space, hyper-space is so like yesterday.

Just got back.
Four games in three days, four wins. The lads did a great job.
The last two games were on my birthday. A great birthday gift from the boys.
Jet lag, different weather conditions, vastly varying game plans and playing styles. A squad of only 19 fit players (four of them are still under 14s) and those young men squared their shoulders, set their jaws put their noses in the dirt and pulled it off.
A fantastic tour for players, coaches and parents.

Thanks for your comments.
They have Dubai Exiles 'B' on Friday. The Exiles are well known for loading their second teams with 'off form' and 'dropped' first team players, so we'll see. They beat Exiles 'A' 19 - 5, a couple of weeks ago.
A few of the Exiles are the offspring of former Royal Marines as well, so it's always good for a bit of a social.
