Does YO training parallel that of Recruit training in terms of field exercises and build up to the commando course?
As far as I remember, pretty much yes.
A few of the Ex may have different names, the AFCO has a booklet that gives you a breakdown of the 14 or so months in comparison with the 32 week course.
