What would anyone say was the bare minimum amount of reps for pull ups, press ups, sit ups etc? What can you do?
Just so I have something to go by. Nice bit of competition here as well. Always helps!
Cheers!

Hmm not 100% sure on the bare minimum mate. I'd say pull ups your wanting to be looking for a good 4-6. Wide over hand grip,hold for 2 seconds and then dead hang,dont go half way.
Pressups id say 40 would be scraping the barrel, so would 50 situps?
Ideally mate look to get as close to the figures they tell you to as you can.
My current ones are 12+ Pullups, 2-3 second pause at top and bottom.
2 mins
Pressups = 82
Situps = 80

It's 20 press ups, 60 sit ups and 3 pull ups.
But you want to get the maximum number or as close to it.

Ha , it still makes me laugh to see post's like these . Why ask what the bare minimum is ,There are lads that pass prmc with 18 press ups and some that fail it with 80, just do your best and stop worrying about petty things .

I doubt (at least I hope) that people ask this for a 'how can I get through with the minimum effort possible' mentality. I think its more that people are stressing about PRMC and are just interested.
Its the same as if you were training for PRMC and didnt know the time you needed for the 3miler, you would be stressing about if 18min was fast enough and would be asking 'Does anyone know the pass for the 3miler!?!?'
I myself know I wont be maxing out on pressups, but I'll still go in and push and not give up until my arms give out. Anyone who wants to get by doing the minimum needs to reconsider their choice of career.

Am I missing something here, im sure I wanted to join the Royal Marines because I wanted to be the best, push myself the hardest and live a culture of goals.
Why are you asking about bare minimum? Surely you should be asking how to push yourself? Is the Royal Marines really for you?

Like Mr Kiwi said, people probably ask questions like these because they stress about PRMC and want to establish what the bottom benchmark is.
It's only the same as asking what the minimum pass mark for an exam is. It doesn't mean you're going to go in and do the bare minimum to pass. You'd still try and smash it.
