Has anyone been to OASC?

Hi

Im applying to join the RAF as an officer and have my presentation in a few weeks time. Assuming I get through my filter interview I have some time to prepare for OASC and want to make sure I focus on the right things. I was wondering if there was anyone who has been to the OASC and could give some tips to me at this early stage. I.e. What would you do if you were at this stage again.

So far I have been studying aptitude, GCSE Maths & Physics books, Reading a broadhsheet everyday, doing distance time calculations, practicing debate and group discussion, running sports and leadership at a local cadet squadron, researching the RAF from the information on their website, reading the selection diaries on this site (very informative!). Are there any other things I could be working on?

Thanks

Very good prep you're doing! When (if) you get through your P2 filter, you get a big booklet in the post which is full! of examples etc etc. Don't neglect your fitness though. Google OASC and there's lots of good stuff. I heart internet.

Good luck!

Hey People

I though i'd come back to this post and say that I have now had my filter interview and been to OASC. Got my A4 pack in the post today saying I have a provisional place on IOT. Thanks to anyone who posted tips or diaries on this site. They were very helpful! If anyone needs any tips feel free to get in contact.

Cheers
