Ok guys, its nearly time for my PRMC (next week) and i am totally feeling up for getting down there. There is one small problem I could do with some advice on...
This last week i have been suffering with tonsillitus and have had things like fever (i was actually hellucinating lol), temperatures and all that shite. its only in the last couple of days ive actually started to feel in any shape to go down to CTC. However i still feel REALLY drained, as if i have no energy and everything is a struggle to do.
Basically i could do with some ideas for energy boosting foods, drinks ect that i can use both now to get myself feeling right and just before I head off to give me that extra boost.
Any help would be great!

Been kissing RGJ av we??
I swear by these: HERBAL TEAS! They dont taste the best but they DO work. In my case they always have done. Especially Green Tea! If you can get into a pattern of drinking about 3 of them a day, you wont get colds etc. I got 1 cold last year, that was it, and that was only because EVERYONE at work had one. Apart from that, no probs mate. Like io said they dont taste the best but you will get used to em. That sounds right fairy like

but anything that helps right?
Give it a go for a month, see how it works.

They do actually rekon that tea has alot of medicinal qualities apparently so it cant be bad!
Thanks for the tip!

Ah thanks Pvt Doughnut i was trying to keep all this under raps between me and you
Thats a very serious and stressful thing to get before a prmc!!! I am more sympathetic than anybody else on here when it comes to having that mate as ive been there and done it.
My honest opinion, is just rest, put back the PRMC and make sure you are at full health untill you get back into the training.
Second piece of advice is get them damn things out, they are the worst bloody things if you are susceptable (spelling) to toncilitis, get on that waiting list.
Really feel for you there mate!!
Id definetly rest up though and go at it when your back at full health.
Again very sorry to hear this news, very moral destroying

but keep your chin up mate

Thanks RGJ, im glad someone kinda knows what its like because i know we all say crack on if your ill and all, but this week it was all i could do to get out of bed at times.
Im feeling alot better now and have decided to give to prmc a go. i missed my last one in september due to a broken foot and dont want to miss out again. Even if i dont pass i will be thankfull for the experience of it and get some kind of idea how my training prepared me. I know i may not be at full strength but i think this is the right moment to 'crack on'.
Just gonna have me loads of pasta and baked potatoes LOL.
