Hi everyone

I've tried the search on here for myspace but found nothing. After finding this a while ago, I go on it near enough every day for a bit reading different articles. I think this is by far the best fourms I know for military training etc. I go on http://www.myspace.com quite a lot and have found a few Royal Marines and Recruits, with some decent groups. As this is what I'm trying for.

This is basically a call out to the Mods and Admins to if anyone of you have a myspace account to make an mfat group on there. Mainly directing to here, mainly because of the welath of content on here. I've looked up mfat for myspace groups and havn't found any. Just a suggestion guys. Hope its worthwhile, because I see it as, the more people that catch onto this site that intend to getting in the forces. The extra bit of homework they can get done.

Many Thanks, David :D

Cheers Dave

There is no reason why you can't make a MFAT associated site, but how would this help us? I know a lot of people use myspace, but I presume they also use search engines like Google to find us. Would the myspace site just duplicate what is here?

Feel free to chip in some ideas

Oh 2nd thought...

If we went for the Myspace site would it be better to go for a general site like this, or with one person at the front (I am thinking of Artist, etc), I am sure we could get something up and running but we would need your help

I suppose it'd be a decent idea. And a way to put faces to the names and all that.

wel if everyone wants to go ahead, we can just post our myspace id's on here, and start from there and form a group and so on. and for those who aint got a myspace, they can get an account.

Yo, I've been AWOL from my PC for too long to remember. Sorry for posting this then buggering off. I think the group for myspace ID's would be good. Mine got hacked the other week by someone, phished I think. Don't let this put you off getting one though. Also the group on myspace is a great one too. Cheers :) They're a great contact tool!

Im all for that, but it does contain alot of personal information lads - locations, birthdays, and most importantly - pictures of what we look like etc so this is why i think we should be a little vigilant about it.

We all remember how some people plotted to kill a brit soldier? Doesn't stop them from having a go at recruits and potentials. :-?

F**K**S!

Anyone else?

I have my own myspace now it's to do with the music I have done

No time for much else.... If someone did set one up it would only be to refer people to here and you would get the same prog questions!

Just setup a sticky topic in the retreat listing your myspace profiles. ;)
