Hi - i was meant to be going down on 29th May but i got a virus and 5th June was the latest date available. I'm Tim Donohoe-Birch (some sadastic DS is going to punish me for that), from Stockport. I'm going to check train times tomorrow, i think you have to be there for 6 if you want to be fed. Are there only three of us in contact at the moment? How is training going for you two? I've just had my final brief - not really anything new, just going over the detail. It's good to hear from you guys.

Been in contact with intro. Training is good at the moment but iv managed to eff my back up and get shinsplints  Well, we can stick together and get through it.

At the moment, it's just the 3 of us. By the way, did you get a "personal summary" form through the post? I'm trying to work out what UCE/DE/DGE stand for :(

I'll send my mobile number over to the both of ya later on.

Is it the running in boots that is givivng you shin splints?...because i've just done 5 miles and my joints are giving me hell. I know that DE means Direct Entry (me), ie: not going to university, and i presume that G has somthing to do with Graduate. I sent the summary back a couple of weeks ago. I've got a dodgy shoulder - i expect that most people will have something that's not perfect.

Naa, I trained too hard and fast after a while off from running so my legs just gave in. I'm going to take the next 2 weeks off from training to avoid any stupid injury that i'm bound to get :) I haven't bothered running in boots (too cheap to buy any) so i'm probably going to have a massive heart attack when i realise that boots are made of a wee bit harder material :( Can't wait

I'v just made an msn messenger account: JCAP3@HOTMAIL.CO.UK

That'll make life easier.

Cheers

Evening chaps.....

I'm glad someone is going there unprepared with boots....I've done a few booted runs and bugger me, it's more than twice has hard, in the boots I bought anyway! Might see what the boots down there are like, and if they are lighter just use those instead! Mine are far from worn in too, would take a year to make them any softer I reckon!

Off out for a run now, glad to meet others o the sam course, as long as we stick together we can drag each other through it!

Aye, through the interviews and essays too. Discussion exercise should be sh*ts and giggles, as long as I dont say any thing a wee bit too "controversial".

Hows your current affairs?

I think its probably a good idea if you guys (including me) could post all of the main current affairs including deployments etc.
