Purely curiousity and something I discussed once with an ex who was a RMC. Are there oppertunities for women in the special forces? If so, what?

A few did work with 14 int in NI.
As to women in the SF forces, I doubt it. I was told or read somewhere that Hoon the Loon once went to "That Place" and suggested to the officers and SNCO's that a few women in the unit would not come amiss. This suggestion was met by A Stoney Silence.

There are women in Hereford, they clean the grots, dish out the scran, hand out brufen in sickbay and some even work in the int side Im lead to believe, then again that could be members of D Sqn Mountain Troop who've shaved
As Artist said, women serve in 14int, and there are somethings the SF use women for, mainly in Poole though as the women down there are better looking (Loz is exempt from the broad brush stroke that implies all Hereford women are mingers, oh and so is Sara who I had a fumble with in 1992!

)
incoming no doubt, Security Alert raised to Amber! Whos Amber?

And I have never "used" a woman, married one once because I was sick of washing up, now adays I feel paper plates are an even better option

I met a few of the nice 14 int ladies. They had a way with words........sucinct and to the point in actual fact. Strangely a lot of them were Jocks.
And I had nought but admiration for the way they did their job. Sod sitting in some Club being touched up by some farking pissed up PIRA member!

Anyone read that article in The Times the other day about the former Woman Corporal in 14 Int (now SRR) who's sueing the Army because her fellow soldiers/officers were sexist.
