Officer training with the RAuxAF

Does anyone know anything about officer selection and training in the RAuxAF (particularly in the Regiment)? Is anyone here an officer or considering gaining a commission? I was told that there are quite a few officer vacancies in the Aux Regt at the moment and that it involves attending two main courses - Inital Officer training at Cranwell and a Junior Regt Officers course at Honington. What do these courses involve and is it tough to gain a commission? Any help would be appreciated
