Ok, just a quick question for anybody who might know.
I know the RAF has a policy that you must have been clear of Hayfever for 4 years to be a pilot.
Do the Marines also have a policy on people who have had Hayfever ?

Having just read all the literature, I believe that you must have been clear of asthma for 4 years (almost the first question my ACFO asked, in fact).
Hayfever requirements are simply that you should not have severe hayfever, sounds fairly subjective to me.

I believe the 4 year rule only applies if you've required an inhaler for your hayfever.

I think that's it.
It cant be all armed forces clear for 4 years, because my mate just joined the RAF Regiment and he has Mild Hayfever.
I think it's only clear of 4 years if you have had the wheezing type of hayfever, like you said above, and for Pilot in the RAF it's all types of Hayfever no matter how mild.
I was thinking the Marines would only be harsh on the wheezing type of hayfever, since the RAF Regiment is also a ground unit who accepts mild forms of hayfever, all though there is a bit of a differnce in quality beetween the Marines and RAF Regiment which got me wondering if it was the same.
