Any body who's done the Millitry divers course, or served on a SAS saber boat troop or in the SBS able to tell me weather Its a requirement to commit diving No/deco times to memory, if so any hints or tips as to how to do this, also any advice on how to work out deco schedules in your head? Im' prezuming that this kind of calcultions are handy as I would guess that in SF operations a handy bunch of laminated diving tables arn't always so handy! Also, what dive computers do the guys use

What's he done wrong?
Well firstly, he can't spell. Secondly it took me quite a while to work out what "deco" meant! And thirdly, and more importantly, the SBS or any military divers, do not dive beyond 30 ft. (10 metres, for you modern kids.), except in special circumstances. (Like exiting or re-entering a submarine, that is below the surface). And that does not take a lot of time, so "deco" does not come into it.
Most SB Ops. underwater, involve using oygen re-breather sets. These do not leave the tell tale bubbles on the surface. They are though limited to 10 metres, (30 feet in my language!) because if you go any deeper you are susceptible to oxygen poisoning.
By the way if you read this, I have to come round and kill you, because you are not supposed to know these things! Ha! Ha!

The main thing they look for in this job in SAS is Gills, if you have gills you have got the job.

well im sorry but my diving knowledge is minimal and i all ive done is tandem dive in the med, and duck do everyone a favour by swimming into the middle of a pond and drowning yourself or at least choke on a piece of moldy bread that a 3 yr old has thrown you

Ok ur telling me to screw my head on, i can appreciate that i might offend ie me tellin duck to go kill himself but thats when people are aggressive towards me, but for a start
