They need your size in cm to make sure your boots fit. Add the regular size if you want to but give them the info they ask for. Don't start with a bollocking. 8)

I phoned up my AFCO with the same problem and was told to cross out the 'cms' and just put 'size 9' . It doesnt actually matter too much because you just grab the boots from the cupboard, try them on (properly, with socks and all), and if they fit, take them. Same goes for the clothing - 2 combat trousers, 2 green T-shirts, 1 combat jacket, 1 rugby top. Try and get there early mind ; first come, first served. Also if and when you pass and are issued boots, they are different to most footwear you've ever worn. I started off trying a size 9 medium and ended up with a size 10 large.
It's really not a big problem, so have a chat to you're AFCO if need be.

cheers, best of luck!! :D

I'm pretty sure most of the forms I filled in for my PRMC went in the bin and are just there to test your patience. When you turn up for PRMC you spend about 2 hours pissing around in a cupboard trying to find clothing that fits. I don't really see the reason for filling in endless forms to do with your measurments, as when you get your boots and socks at the end of the course they ask you your size anyway??

All I can say is get to Lympstone as early as possible (e.g 12-1pm). So when you get there you can choose your bunk (top bunk), get clothing that fits so you don't look like a bell end with a pair of combat trouser shorts. And knick all the coat hangers out of the cupboards of other PRMC candidates who havn't turned up yet (or take your own hangers). And finally get the blankets that arn't itchy as hell.

Just look in the inside of your shoe it has the measurments in cm, inches etc.

I agree with Jamie and Jackal, get in fast and furious to get decent kit. Make sure your boots have decent laces, pain in the ass if they break and make sure your combat jacket has a working zip too.
Also, it sucks to have to clean up the kit cupboard (with that damn light that goes off every ten seconds), so either avoid that duty or try and get the lads not to f**k it up too much while rummaging for kit
Jackal, personally I'd prefer a bottom bunk. I was on the top and it was a prick to have to climb down to take a slash during the night, plus those bunks make so much noise with the slightest movement, I didn't want to wake up the whole room.
Cheers guys,
Josh.

FOOK THAT! :D i was up every 10 seconds with the amount of water i drank combined with nerves! Made a fool of myself throughout the prmc though, 1st of all the coporal noticed my name...GUNN so he asked if a had Big Guns, heres me thinking big todger so what did i say... YES CORPORAL, then he replies get them out, i was like :o am i f*ck gettin it out infront of everyone, then he said take off my jacket and stand on the chair so i did, then he said take off my shirt so i did, then he was like...flex them guns Big GUNNS so then i realised that he was talking about my arm muscles, i am a skinny but strong 17 year old! so i looked like a fool there but got the nickname BIG GUNS! that was a laugh, then with the pure lack of sleep and amount of phys that was done i fell asleep in EVERY lecture, fook knows how would i have coped if i got into training  anyway prmc was a great laugh even though i failed, lads were great, made some great mates that i still talk to...good luck lads!

I cut a dashing figure on my prmc, my t-shirts were too small, my jacket was the biggest size available (190/114 i think-im about a 39 inch chest) my trousers were too short-they came up to the middle of my shin, just above the top of my boots, that incedently were too 4 sizes too big for me-i don't know how the pti's kept a straight face when i strolled up to the bottom field  :D

I thought those tee-shirts were one size fits all (or no one)- very fetching. They didn't seem to have a 'right way round' either, or an 'inside out' for that matter. :o There was a guy in our room who quit after the assault course on day 1, left CTCRM having stuffed his sweat soaked tee shirt in the bottom off his locker. We didn't find it till day 3 when the corporal was inspecting. Was most unpleasant experience having to fold it up for the laundry people.
The rugby shirts were like lycra- skin tight and not allowing for much movement. I felt the model of sartorial elegance. Still, it wasn't a fashion parade and we all looked like t*ssers together.
