Marksmen?

I was just wondering, is there a way you can specialise as a sniper or marksmen? If so has any of you tried/completed it?

You can specialise as a sniper in Infantry and Royal Marine units. I don't know about RM but the infantry sniper course is, i think, 6 weeks. You'd probably have to be quite a good marksman for them to put you forward because I don't think there's many in each regiment. When I was in training for the Infantry in 2000 I think the Duke of Wellington's had only 6 snipers in the regiment.

Micky; Yes is the short answer however this is a subject that has had all the questions asked and answered ad nauseum. Do a search (top left) and after you have trawled through the thousands of results if there is still anything specific then please ask away.
