lol its not that hard you guys will have it hard thanks to prince philips new training. You do more physical training and loads of " team building " excercises... Manic mondays are easier you do less miles on dartmoor...

Its all changed my phase one was the last entry to do the old style course.

I dunno if you will like it but if you really wanna be in the navy you will do the training.

I didnt enjoy it that much but it has its good days.

Im stuck here for a few weeks as whats called a " holdover " my course at collingwood is full so i need to wait for the next opening class so im stuck here doing shitty jobs.

I know on your manic monday you dont do what we did you do ...

Obstacle course then assault course then a 3 mile run all one after the other, you do you divisional kit muster in week 5 so thats piss easy.

I dont know the new course that well just a few things but if your joining next monday i will have a look for you and say hello.

Excellent work Hamilton, nice to see you've come out on top (not that we expected otherwise of course ;)). During training did you notice any great range of physical abilities among the recruits, or were most people average with only a few super fit/unfit blokes?
Also, did there seem to be a fair variety of trades that people were going in for, I'm just wondering how much they put applicants for similar trades in the same group as while you're waiting for your course, my AFCO told me they arranged basic training dates so you could start trade training immediately after :o.

Oh, the humanity!

Hamilton. Can I ask you few questions. I havent got a clue what to do with the tracksuit I have to take to raleigh. Like what is it used for and what must it consist of. Do I have to take interview clothing. And finally what about the casual clothing. I was looking at wearing down a pair of jeans, trainers and a t-shirt and putting a black shirt and pair of shoes in my bag. Also did you take two bags. 1 large and 1 small school type pack and do I take shorts for pt with me. I just havent got a clue with my clothing as what to take. Please could anyone answer my questions asap as Im going shopping tomorrow. tahnsk guys

Did you borrow that pic from Harrys internet shop?
Scallys R Us- Shellsuits for all occasions :P

Good choice displaying the "Go Faster Stripe" model...says on H's website that they are designed to make you run like the wind when the bizzies are after you

Tracksuit is used in your own time for when you go down to the CV suit ( Gym ) you get given a PT kit its veyr sexual :) Sexy Hi-Tech trainers for PT Yummy.... You only use you own gear for cock sports which is when you compete with your rival division for a trophy... - Waste of time really lol.

Clothing you need some for going out on shore leave so take them in a big suitcase as you either have to buy more or get them sent down or wait for your holidays - August is next set for summer.

Interview - Um i wore trousers and a jumper but they were smart...

Yes they tend to put all the trades together so that whn phase one is over you can all go to phase 2 in a larger class of people... If however you are unlucky number then you go into holdover and stay at raleigh but they do try and make sure all the trades stay together.

Anymore questions feel free to ask.
