Widnes TA

Is there anyone on here from Widnes TA centre?
I live near the Warrington barracks(HQ apparently) and they've passed me over to Widnes as they take the recruits(more facilities for training one bloke said).
I'll be showing my face next tuesday.

Then they have done you a favour , stay away from HQ's they are full of old men and cripples

Hicky ,
I am not from the Widnes TAC but am part of the same Regiment, you are being directed to Widnes as part of the Training /Recruitment plan for the Batt. as you will be trained up to be an Infanteer and as the previous post said HQ,s are "full of old men and Cripples " ay,ay, I am moving over to HQ soon

Ah but you see all us old crippled buggers were once the gazelles in front of every run, first in the galley queue and last back at night after a run ashore. So what happened?

As the Advert says my friend "TRUE,TRUE" ,
Hicky just noticed the date you posted, and you are probably getting ready for w/end 2 at holcombe moor ,if so I wont be there but will be there for up to and including w/ end 6 .you have been warned, hope you have learned your badges of rank and you should be practicing your foot drill cos the whole course was carp on w/end 1
