In this weeks edition of Nuts Magazine, theres an article about some Marines who were found sleeping off a drunken night in a shalet. Below it, there is a picture of what I believe to be a Para (winged badge on cherry beret). Just wondered if anyone else spotted this.

Oh its really obvious how to tell a para from a bootie, paras wear burgandy t-thirts, drainpipe jeans, chucka boots and green silk pilot jacket. Royal doesnt have to advertise who he is, its all in the chat up line

Silk? Since when? I was ripped off! Last time I saw it, it was in a state of disrepair, mopping up an oil spill in the garage, anyway.

As I recall, there were two orders of kit: Drinking kit (as described above) and f$%k off kit. The latter was your best bird-pulling duds which, when your muckers saw you heading out the gate, usually prompted a "f$%k oooooff!", like you had any chance at all even with the Gucci kit on!

Fs, yes i spotted it, and e-mailed the mag, telling them to get their act together, para`s can`t hold their liquor, and yes, it was a "Red" beret on the pixeled out mug.

Bloody Paras. And to think I almost joined them over Royal. Good job I met one of their rupes before it was too late!!

Falling down kit! The clothing that would survive anything. Drink, vomit, mud, blood, etc. Never went out drinking in a dress or skirt. Embarrassing if you fall down.

The 'young lady' is the Nuts office manager (according to the new article.) She's learning sword fighting and self defence and the like. All to do with Kill Bill.
