Navy to Marines!?

Just wondered if anybody knows of anyone that has joined the navy and transfered to the booties?I've been in for 6months now and jst wondered if there is any chance of me transfering.I consider myself very fit and would love the opportunity.Any advice would be appreciated, cheers.

Well i consider myself very fit too, but i know i am going to be able to handle the phys side of things. I think if they do let you transfer, you may have to successfully complete the PRMC. Which is fair enough.

theres a lad in my troop who was a chef for 5 years and transefered!

Theres a few guys in my troop who transferred...
I don't think its a problem but im pretty show they cant go back in the navy if they want to leave. You dont have to have an interview or PJFT or any of that crap tho.
