Passed PRMC 7th - 10th Oct
Passed PRMC 7th - 10th Oct
Hey all, just got back from Lympstone and passed me PRMC -
Bleep - 12.1
Pressups - 52
Situps - 55
Pullups - 4
Assault Course - 3:51
Here's a quick low down on the course.
Gym test 1 - easy as long as you have prepared for your pressups etc.
We lost our first 4/5 guys who got really shit scores and were told they failed. By shit scores I mean level 8 bleep, 15 pressups etc. Make sure you get the from right excatly on the pressups, situps etc or they won't count them.
Assault Coure - Hard as f**k. This is the hardest part (in my opinion) of the course. The obstacles them self are fun however the warm up is 40 -60 mins of hell. I know this has been stated before but when you get down there you realise just how difficult it really is. Constant marking time, pressups, sprinting etc, there is no stopping what so ever. We lost another 9/10 guys through the warm up.
3 miler - again you will be aching from the previous days activities but not to bad a test if you have prepared for it. Another 6 gone.
Gym test 2 - by this time you will be f****d. But if you get this far and you still want, don't give up. Constant stances (obstacles laid out in a gym), 5 in total, then grid sprints which will last about 5/10 mins. No one quit at this point which was very good.
In all our course started with 57 then finished with 25.
Thanks to all the old and bold who have helped, make sure anybody joining searches this site completly as it helped me out no end. There were a lot of people who f**k up on the form of excersises, so make sure you get it right.
Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Ps. well done to Danny, Westy and his mate.

well
Definitely some time at the end of Nov. Hope to see you there danny, dont worry too much about improving scores, just pound that weight on so you can burn if off again down there
. Looking forward to it all, hope the guys on here who passed stick it through training. See you in a years time daniel, now you know what happens get all your scores like tip top danny here who was drinking tea while doing gym test 1.
Sticky_Blue i got quite a slow time on the asault course because i fell off the monkey bars lol, but it was the 3 miler which messed it all up for me. Im going to try and work out some kind of circuit training to do every day, im also only going to work 3 days a week rather than 5 so i can really get this training done. If you can give me links to relitive sites or anything that would be great. Im going back in 12 months because i feel anything less than that and i really wouldnt be prepared, but im sure it will just fly by and next thing i know ill be getting my ass kicked on the asault course again :'( .
ps - LMAO still laughing about "sergeant major 3 stripes" only the guys in my room will know what im on about.
