Cheers.
Yeah they have made it hard. I found it hard aswell. I'd never done anything like a loaded march before, and I thought a tab was just a steady paced walk. We were wearing kevlar helmets, and you could see the sweat dripping in front of your eyes.
Before I went I only really did running and press ups and sit ups.
Before I go back to my TG course Im going to run further, swim more and fill a rucksack with sleeping bags and everything and start tabbing with it.
In the interviews in the end when we found out if we'd passed or failed, they said there is still a TG course that has spaces on it in June, but Im not sure if I can get ready in a month. Im just waiting to hear from my AFCO.
Where abouts are you from?
I got my dad to drive there, only took me an hour, otherwise I would have had to get a train to London, then back up to Bury.

If a recruit fails their PGAC how many more times can they have another crack at it? RM's only let you have two atempts i heard so i wonder what the regiment will allow.

YOU ARE ALLOWED TWO ATTEMPTS I THINK, UNLESS YOU DROP OUT THROUGH AN INJURY OR FAMILY REASONS, IM GOING IN AS A GUNER IF I DO NOT GET IN AS A NAVIGATOR.

thats just about ll you need to do aprt from determination and passing yor interviews. upper body strength isnt that important , being fit and healthy is. i just run daily(5miles) and go gym 4 times a week.
