1) High.
2) Depends how many arses you service I suppose.
3) Who cares?? Amphibious elite, Royal marines. Airborne elite, paras.

Not again...
Lets not get into the whole Para Vs Marine argument again!
Matt have a look at the other numerous threads and you'll see what I mean. Drop out rate will depend on the quality of the intake.

1. Around 25 - 30% of Marines per intake will pass out with their original joining troop, not too sure overall but I would think abouty 50 - 60% pass out in total.
2. Almost all of 3 CDO BDE are Marines, just about all paras are in one of the airborne battilions as they use Royal sigs, artillery, engineers, rlc, adj gen corps etc etc for all their supporting elements, so there will be more Marines in total.
3. Don't go there!! they are both elite, both units require highly motivated professional soldiers capable of carrying out their assigned tasks. Only you can choose which one you feel is the more elite - its something inside you, incidentially its that feeling inside that also determines whether you pass or not
