MORE confirmation on press-ups technique

Smile lads!
I was talking to my mate in college who attempted and failed PRMC a couple of years back and i asked him about press-ups. He said that they're not really that botherd about techneque - they advise you before hand but as long as you do enough and put in 110% then they don't look at techneque.
I'm still not gonna be completly devoted to this finding becuase it may have changed or his information may not be acurate but its a reliefe becuase if its the case then i can do about 10 or 20 more than i could with the 'arms in' techneque.
