Ahoy there Feathers & DFA!
Is there a similar site to this one for Para Reg? Over the years I have met quite a few Paras and would like to keep in touch with some. 'The Beast' Fuller, Marty 'Scouse' Magerison, 'Doc' Owen, Bert 'Short Fuse' Hughes, Mick Cullen and of course Hew Pike, amongst others.
Yours aye
Steve

Steve,
your missive might get lost here - but to save re-posting on the pongo board - there is
http://www.parachuteregiment.co.uk/ unfortunately this is an official sight link to their message boards and is
for those who have served with UK airborne units only you will get your knuckles rapped if you have not or if you try and enter on behalf of others (naughty naughty) - no sense of adventure![/quote]

Rob has nursey given you a feww cc s extra?

is that what you meant!
Dont know if Grungy would volunteer for such a doddle of a mission, but maybe Harrietta Hunk our sweet talking cousin, might sniff something out.
She might Bragg with her handle, but I doubt shes slipped into any tunnel that big, as them Screaming Eagles really do like their silk soft.

Aint gonna argue with you there Jo-Beth.
The cache Jay is talking about just confirms what we always knew about the young cherry topped necky little sports jumpers of today:
their boasts are based on the hardships of their predecessors,
their plans but castles in Spain.
If I be a so-called cabbage head well at least cabbages, nourishes and sustains, is full of iron and puts something back into the environment.
Whereas the cherry looks pretty in flower, is supposedly sweet to taste, (I hear lots of them there arty folks like droppin the little guys in their drinks, but over here there just little old decorations on top of a trifle) but rots quickly and contaminates the earth if left.
Your comments welcome, on the back of a postage stamp, unless your a cherry topped necky little stunt then crayoned drawings may be accepted (I understand that we now have a trained member of the AGC who might just be able to translate your scematics into literate pipe dreams).

Steve,
I posted in reply on the army board, but if you go to
http://www.parachute-regiment.com/ this is the official web site, the .co.uk one isnt (think its run by Peter McAleese). If you then go to the PRA section there is a message board link. The tone is different to here, its more for the old and bold getting in touch, which is what you are doing... Scouse 'madge' has posted there.
Good luck finding your muckers.
Where's my crayola box got to? :changes:

Ahoy there!
I visited the Para Reg site and posted my message. Then I saw the bit about it being only for those who have served with or are serving AB Forces. Ooops! :evilbat:

Steve,
Go to the other site that I posted the link for, click on Parachute regiment association, click on the message board, here you will find messages from old and bold, people trying to find out about relatives who were in the Reg, lads who want to join, the whole lot... it is the unofficial site that has airborne only rule.
