save your money, Cronks.
Get a Hi- Vis vest from a builders merchant if you don`t want to get ran over. Cardio-vascular training? Get advice from a gym. You need to run more than 2X per week.
Good luck,

I was going to only run 2 times per week on top of the cv training from the rowing machine because its stupid trying to run here you run 5 metres and have to stop

Same situation if you ever get based at Stonehouse barracks in Plymouth.

You NEED to run.

If neccessary run somewhere so you can go for a run

If you don`t, you ain`t gonna make it.

good luck

If you really must invest in a machine then I would recomend a "Concept !!" rowing machine, costly though plus £1000.
This works complete body .
Regardless what you will probably not be cheap, so why waste money on kit unless you reckon you are going to be coming home a lot to use it.
Probably be better to buy a bicycle then at least if you can't run why not cycle some where then run.
Running is something I can not stress hard enough that you have to be good at, you will certainly get plenty of opportunities to run once in, though why blow your chances of getting in, with pathetic excuses that there is nowhere to run.
You need to use your initiative to overcome these Hurdles, harder obstacles to pass and fathom out during BT.
Wish you luck sound like your going to need it.

Frankenstein.
