Admin / Moderator Powers: Clarification?

As a result of recent unpleasantness and such I wondered what powers exactly do the holders of such positions hold?
I personally have never been a Mod here or elsewhere so have no knowledge of such matters, however I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering..
I'd be grateful if Beast or Admin could could shed some light on this, I know Mole has made allegation of wrongdoings and maybe this could be laid to rest by the simple sharing of this information so we can move forward!
I'm sure other members have similar questions and I believe a small amount of reassurance goes a long way!
Many thanks!
P.S... Welcome back Admin!

I'm glad such a question has been raised and only too happy to answer.
I would like to assure you that;
Moderators on this forum have the following powers only:
Delete, Move, Lock and Split posts or threads only.
Create Announcement or Sticky postsor threads.
Administrators on this forum have the above and access to controls which control the running of the forum.
System Operators have access to both the above along with hardware and software which control our services.
Hope this helps.

Admin,
Thanks for the post/explanation/clarification. Much appreciated.
Up until now I thought some Mods had a huge range of powers, light saber, x-ray vision, invisibility cloak, water into wine etc.
It's a bit of a let down when you realise they're not much different from the rest of us. A bit like realising David Copperfield isn't really magic!

I don't know Rogue - never managed to work out how he turned himself that peculiar colour...

RC this is how others spread rumours, as previously said the Moderators only have the powers as listed above.
If only someone asked me directly and i could of provided any information straight from the horses mouth instead of others listening to some jumped up whipper snapper!
Glad you managed to find your PM's, they were always on our system and never disappeared, everything on our database is logged and date stamped which tells us if modification was carried out by the member, admin or system software. And the system told us no modification had been carried out since members last interaction!

Beast,
Thanks again.
I never spread or listen to rumours from jumped up whipper snappers. The PMs was an aside/distraction from the real issues.
