				Hello there all.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ioann. I'm 18 years old, living in Kiev(the capital of Ukraine),and curently studing at the Shevchenko University at the physics faculty.
I would like to join RAF and begin my studing at the RAF Academy as a pilot. I fit both the health and mental requirements, but the main problem is that I am not a UK citizen. I know it might seem strange that I dont join UAF. And you would probably ask me why I dont do so. The problem is that in our country I would get only engineer degree if I did go to the AF academy 'cause our army lucks of fuel for training flights...
So I would like to know if there is any way for me to join RAF.
Yours truly Ioann.

To apply for any RAF job, you must be British, Commonwealth, Irish, British protected or dual national (British/other) at the time of application.
Sorry! Have you tried the Americans?

With the way this country is being run at the minute I reckon if you just rock up you'll be fine......at the very least you'll get a 5 bedroom council house, a motability BMW and a couple of grand a month expenses out of it!

Well I guess you are wrong, salaries in our country isnt as high as you have in UK, but we have much more higher prices here than you do in UK.
The only one who lives here really nice are politicians and those who robbed enough after USSR fallen to pieces. For example our regular army officer earns about 3000UAH and its about 260GBP. Think about it.

Ion, he means if you can get yourself into the country, you'll probably be given a house, car, etc for free, and be able to claim lots of money in benefits.
Our government seems to be nice like that, as far as foreign nationals are concerned anyway...
(I wouldn't actually suggest you do that though!)

I got(back)Into the country with a foreign passport how come I don't get a Beamer,a council house and an allowance?
All I got was a grumpy woman, her two obnoxious kids and a demand for back NI payments.

I think you have to have lived in the uk for like 3years or something before you can get a citizenship.... but i may be wrong.
Probably best to contact the imigration office? they seem to be very nice to people who want to come and stay with us XD.
