Black Hawk

Post by JDLOKI »

Hi, Im trying to model the Black Hawk from the movie 'Black Hawk Down', which I believe is the UH-60 version but images on the internet of the UH-60 do not have the (what I think are sensors) on the front

Here's a screenshot from the film:

and heres a UH-60 from the internet:

It looks like a Pave Hawk but without the fueling device on the front?

Couldn't say for sure, but I'd put money on at least one of the two bulbous pods being a camera, just like they use for Police, Camera, Action

its ok I have figured out it is a MH-60L DAP, a specialised version whos mission it is to conduct attack helicopter operations utilizing area fire or precision guided munitions and armed infiltration or exfiltration of small units.

Hate to tell you this but this site is for people who want to join the Brit forces not for hints on how to model a chuffing Helo. OK?

Hey,
thanks for the warming message, sorry I was only here to recieve some help about a military chopper.

'this site is for people who want to join the Brit forces'

I understand this which is why I purposely put this thread in the general discussions thread and besides it is here along with a thread about the amazon with bruce parry...

Don't worry about the artistic one, he gets grumpy sometimes. But please, helo, helicopter, or even (if you must) heli. But NOT a 'chopper'...a chopper is something large and sharp, or that Wholley rides, or that sees your arse as a piece of meat  (Yes I realise the last two could be one and the same, unintentional I assure you :o ).

When I remember previous threads about piles and white dog shite,I think JDLOKIs question is a pretty fair one.

Ah yes - those were the days - not been around here much since then .....

Good question from JDLOKI - I'm not so sure that any answer can/should
be given here - ( or even a 'qualified guess' .....). - Again - Catch 22.

Those were Artist's grapes yes ? Suffered while drying out from the canal.

I'm back more often now..... for a while.
