hey all, just a bit of promotional work this one!

Im taking part in a sponsered hitch Hike (for charity) from Birmingham to Newquay on june 11th with a bunch of other people. So,

** if any of you are in the area, heading in a certain direction (south) and see people in fancy dress trying to hitch a lift, spare a thought for them and perhaps give them a little lift  **

Am going down to St Mawgan round about then, but think it's a couple of days earlier. If you see some people being winched into a helicopter from a dinghy, don't worry, that's only us...

What charity?

Not to sure what charity to be honest this time. My university society collects it then distributes it ...theres a link to their website etc as i know that sounds a bit dodgy lol

Lots of time to make an ostrich outfit - they're always great for charity
stuff .....

Use, of course, your own legs - with a pair of orange/yellow tights - make
an ostrich 'feathery' body around your waist/hips - make a long neck and
head with beak - rig up a pair of reigns from the beak - hang a pair of
trousered legs from the ostrich body to look as though you are riding it
and Bob's your uncle - No-one can resist putting money in your tin !

The rig is good for Marathons too - but look out for gulls and pigeons

AND -

if you use it in a marathon you'd better be good at the running bit too !
