Hi, I've just passed my 1st interview and have my 2nd tomorrow. During the interview I changed my job roles and ive forgot to ask for the job description for the Royal Armoured Corps. I was woundering if anyone could help me finding a website all about Phase one, phase two and job roles in this corps??

Many Thanks Tom. 8)

Thanks, ive read through but it just describes the single jobs within the corps. It's helped abit but I kind of need something like the job brief sheet that the AFCO give you when you first decide what three jobs you choose. If anyone knows of a good site I'd be very grateful.
If all fails will it hurt going down 30-45 mins early to get the sheet and revise down there??

Thanks

My recruiters have been very helpful and if I was in the same position as you, I'd go pretty early and request for the detailed job description print out. It won't hurt! I am yet to do my first interview soon as my medical goes through... Was it hard? Let me know what takes place at the second interview.

Cheers!

Yer I think that's what ill do, Nar the interview to be totally honest Is a piece of p!ss. Just learn your job roles, know the background of your life  and go in with you head up high. I was abit nervous at first but he said to me " Nervous are you " said yer and told me not to be so silly and I calmed down
The second interview is basically the same but with the person that is going to recruit you ( I think ). Ill let you know the facts tomorrow

Sorry about spelling food is burning :o

If you look on the Regiments page that you are joining, it should list career options and prospects, etc.

The regiment im looking to join does'nt do Royal Armoured Corps. There a totally different regiment. The only reason I need to know about this is because as my title says it's my second interview tomorrow and I need to know all about my 3 job choices. I know my first two i stuck with but Royal Armoured Corps which i changed today the sarg and I both forgot to print the job description off. And for the love of me I can not find a web site that explains what training I will be doing.

But I have a cunning plan!!!

Holly cr*p that's it? :D! I've met two recruiters, one is a senior sergeant who seemed very diplomatic and serious faced while the other seemed so laid back. I prefer to be interviewed by the latter. Keep me posted. Bon apetit!

Thanks!

Well I passed again :D Just awaiting phone call for dates of selection and arrange train tickets.
This interview was abit harder. Went into alot more depth is all I can really say and this time interview was taking by Warrant Officer 2nd Class.
Which made it a little more "Dodgy" lol

Congratulations! Do you mind going into details of the interview? I'd love to know since I will be having my interviews pretty soon.
Thanks :D . Well the first interview will be taking by your army adviser.
He/She will ask you all about the 3 job roles that you have chosen, To see if you have been revising. He/she will just ask personal questions about yourself to get to know you. Also about your fitness and if you really think you are ready for selection. A few personal questions I can remember are:
1. Who do you live with?
2.What is you social life like?
3.Was you popular in school?
4.How did you enjoy school life?
5.Why do you want to join the army?
They are the type of questions really for both interviews. There's not really much to it. You will know what to expect in the 2nd interview after the 1st.
Hope this helps a little but i dunno what else to say :P
But Revise your job descriptions. Train Hard, and dont go out on the p!ss and break a leg.

All The Best With It, Let me know how your getting on :D

Would the questions be the same for a 28 year old though (me that is), I wouldn't expect questions about school are terribly relevant!

I do not no mate. Im 20 and I didnt think it was very relivant, but there you go. It was all questions about my life in school, when I left school until the time I first walked through the afco's door. Different Advisors may ask different questions. Also in my first interview I was talking about my father who just died for like 20 mins and he talked about his life :-? .
I really think it was just to get to know me better, and i learned abit about him :-?
