what i wanted to ask was..... I want to join the infantry, an was wondering do you have to be a complete retard to fail the 2 day selection corse?? if i match the fitness and am not dis-respectful in anyway could i still fail?

You can potentially fail the ADSC in several areas, such as if your fitness levels are not good, medical reasons, not showing any potential during the leadership tasks or just being an idiot. One lad on my course get failed because they thought he needed to have more life experience. Put in 100%, just because it sounds easy it isnt a walk in the park.

If they accept you then it is almost impossible not become an infantry soldier.

If your knuckles drag on the ground while you walk.
If you dribble from the side of your mouth while you speak.
If your eyes point in different directions without trying.
If your local village is going to be minus an idiot if you decide to leave.
Then you may struggle to get in.
……….unless you’re going for RLC.
