MOD's if this is in the wrong place then please move it.
Please sponsor an ex squaddie running the 2008 marathon for the childrens charity victa.
this help children with vision problems, (from impaired to blind) loads of details on their website.
please donate even a pound from a member would add up to a huge amount, if most could donate, i am sure everyone could give a pound for a blind kid???

Johnny, I also have a place next year and have my room in the Union Jack all booked up and ready, early bird and all that. If you have any races planned and want a running/training partner just let me know mate, I'm located sout Mids by Worcester.
Good luck in your fund raising by the way, have a look at the Just giving web sites for another free sponser site.
Not sure if you have done it before but this will be my 5th marathon and 3rd London if you need any advice about the big day?

Cheers Goldie
This is my first London Marathon, have booked up at the Travellodge docklands for it.
I live in Cambridge, but my work office is in Malvern near Worcester, so when i know i am heading out that way i will give you a shout, for a run etc.
Not to panicky at the moment about the do's and donts at london just yet, i am more concentrationg on getting the miles in for now.
i am sure the panic and tons of questions will set in sometime after xmas.
I will keep in touch about progress etc.
Cheers
John
