pressups are hard at first... do this:
Day 1 - 5 pressups
Day 2 - 10 pressups
Day 3 - 15 pressups
etc.... keep on it and always increase the amount daily. Dont DECREASE no matter what.

Just impress them with your driving skills!!
Also, I was just wondering are you going to be wearing your helmet at your interview or are we finally going to find out your identity?
Ps; Good luck with joining up mate.

Get some press up bars. Once you are used to them, normal press ups will be easy.

To be honest... I been capped at 50 for 6 months now. I ain't tried to get passed 50 because my stamina needs some work. Well its up to you. Try get to 30 within a month and a send you a M&S voucher haha

i found the best way of getting used to press ups was a sort of pyramid scheme.. set of 5 rest then a set of 4 3,2,1 think once you go upto 10 and go through them press ups shouldnt be a bother to you.

Hey nimbard, I dont remember us doing anything like that pyramid thing you just mentioned. The only way to improve is to keep doing them, and make sure you push yourself. No point in stopping as soon as it starts hurting. And make sure you have rest days. I can do up to 80 pushups in a 1er now, so whooptedoo for me!
RAF regiment interview in 2 weeks whoot whoot!

Try three sets of 5 with 1 minute break. Leave a days rest.
Then once you find it easy to do the 3 sets, up it to 4 sets of 8. Then leave a days rest. Do this twice more with 1 days break in between.
Once you feel comfortable. Try pressups to failure and see what you score.
