Hi Guys/Girls,
I have a contact and friend who I served and worked with in the Police (after leaving the booties) who is looking for former professionals who can conduct OP type work in potentially pressurised environments. All UK based . It is non confrontational work but can be long and hard. Concentration required and thinking on ones feet is a good skill to have. Technical ability an advantage. It is short term/short notice contract type work which could lead to longer spells? Travel may be required. Midlands/East Anglia /London. Send your cv to me via email/pm. Why would anyone want to apply for a job doing 'OP type' work without knowing what is involved?

After all, bailiffs, customs & excise, social security, local councils, etc. all do 'OP' work and advertise nationally. What makes yours so different?

Oh, and MI5 now advertise in the broadsheets.


If you don't get any applications from the Forum where are you going to advertise and how?

At the end of the day-Put your CV in and they will contact you if they think your a suitable candidate.

It is a business that isnt going to publicise how it works or where. It dosent need too. Most of the guys who work for them come by word of mouth any way..

Im just trying to help point a few people who might be looking for work in the right direction...

So to sum up- If you are not interested then dont put your CV in ? End of said story

I might be interested - but how would I know?

I've got jobs by word of mouth before [well, one anyway] and I've told guys about vacancies in the past. But the 'word of mouth' always involved telling people exactly what the job was, rates of pay, and so on.
