Hey, first post!

Seriously considering joining the RAF in the same trade as yourself. A bit unsure of what is needed of me though.

Have few qualifications from school, scottish qualifications. Bit above what they are looking for according to the site anyway.

Have set about getting fit, going to start reading up on history of the RAF. Main question I have is the aliptude tests, what kind of questions are in these are they simple enough or pretty hard maths questions?

Thanks guys.

Hi,

Went in my AFCO on thursday and made an application for Avionics Tech. I've now got my aptitude tests on the 18th April.
Just take a trip down to them and have a chat, they'll tell you all you need to know.

Good Luck

Yeah I must agree with you! I went to the AFCO in November 2006 and they answered all my questions about the trade. I now have my Final Interview on 11th April. You will be best going your local AFCO, they are really helpful.

Best of luck!
