Is there any sort of dress i should wear for the aptitude tests? I personally would think its smart causual but some people have said i should wear a shirt etc.

On your previous experience. what did people wear? I know this is a silly question but its bugging me :)

Im out now but do a lot of Job Simulation stuff for the Prison Service and we get loads turn up in crap kit and although it's not supposed to alter anything it gives a crap first impression so go for a smart suit everytime mate, trust me on this one!

heyhoe,

Consider this:

Two people arrive for an interview, there is only one position available.

One is dressed smartly in a suit and the other has turned up in jeans or even trousers and a T shirt.......

What would your opinion be if you were the interviewer? I know that other aspects of a person would be taken into consideration but you will never have a second chance to make a first impression.

If you cant be ar*@d to put on a suit, why should the Air Force invest time and money in training you?

General Technician (Workshops)

Actually crapping myself for the interview now. Need to learn all the stuff about the RAF now. I have a load of application forms to fill in.

I was given the AFCO 102, the security form and a medical examination report after i got the results of my test. However it looks like the medical form is for when i actually go to the medical.

They stated that if anything is not filled in they will send you home :S so should i just fill in everything possible? Been reading the medical form and its kinda scary!!!!!!!!!!!!
