It's an Acquaint, it's to give you an insight into what you have in store re PRMC. I think the idea is that you'll enjoy it and be confident about your chances on the PRMC.

I was due to be on the Birmingham acquaint day on the 31st of Oct, but had to drop out due to the fact i've injured a disc in my back. How did you get on with the day? What sort of numbers were there?

it was day 1 of prmc!

first the 3 mile run as a squad, then gym test 1 and some briefing. a really good day.

i'm really confident now for my PRMC because i completed the day and my assessment was good. we got marked either (V Poor, Poor, Adequate, Good, Excellent). and these were marked on the (3miler, Bleep test, press ups, sit ups, pull ups). these were my results:

3 Mile Run - Good
Vo2 Max - Adequate
Press Ups - Adequate
Sit Ups - Good
Pull Ups - Good

Overall Assessment - Good

i didnt have my prmc date before i did the aquaint day and i was told if i did well i will get my date. they would only except adequates or higher. my PRMC is 18th Dec.

What scores did you get on the tests as in what level did you get on the bleep test and how many press ups/sit ups/pull ups did you manage. It would give me an idea of what is adequate or good. Cheers.

sounds like a good day.

Last October i went on the Birmingham acquaint. Sounds like the format has changed. This one was full of Public Services college students and the day was very relaxed, with climbing, fast patrol boats, weapon handling etc.
Did your AFCO make you aware of this one? I didnt know it was happening.

Just noticed your in Birmingham - Any other midlanders on here?
