The RAF have two posts in South Korea who are based at the embassy. I'm not sure whether there are any personnel in North Korea but I should imagine that there are not!

Are they in Korea? I think not, like the previous post, op sec would probably say no anyway. We cannot just land anywhere if there is a conflict!

rawli: My comment was to relating to units more substational than that. Its like saying the RAF are everywhere in the world as we have consulates, embassy and 'other' staff. Does that answer my question or statement?!

There's no way Kim Jong Il would allow British personnel to operate in North Korea, that country has next to no deplomatic relations with the western world
