Hey there, everyone! I'm new to the site. I met Flo on the Royal Navy website (where she and I seem to be the only bootneck wives) and she recruited me! 
I am a Yank (as my DH likes to call me), originally from (in the words of John Denver) Almost Heaven, West Virginia in the States. I moved here to Plymouth in January to be with my Royal Marine husband. We met aboard Camp Lejeune US Marine Corps base in North Carolina. We have an adorable 6- month old daughter. Still getting adjusted to being a new wife, a new mother and in a different country. It's all a wonderful experience though. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi Izzysmom,
First of all welcome the the rusty Ship MF, its got more holes in it than a string vest....But those who live her like it and hope you will too....Oh and I am a Big fan of JD as well so you'll do for me.
As for enjoying your new life.... Tell the truth you gota think we are all weird!! Talk funny and have far too much history!
You will find a load of nice peeps here, loads of laughs and loads of support.... Like it or not you are now a member for the Family....For Life so enjoy.

I was once at Lejeune for a few weeks post Purple Star, didnt meet any nice ladies though.....well I did they just ran away

Jeremy Thorpe was a politician. Leader of whatever the Libs called themselves back then. He was also a raving beefer who was still in the closet. He had an affair with young Norm which all went tits and Jeremy was alledged to have had Scott`s dog "taken out"in an attempt to make him shut the fark up
It ended up in the Crown and Scott`s evidence was the best,hey
His description of a naked Thorpe coming into his bedroon late at night carrying a towel was priceless. John Denver was giving it root toot on the70`s version of a music center, singing that shite about "like a walk in the mountains, you fill up me senses, etc" as Jeremy lubed up and gave young Norm the raw prawn up the bum. As me Lud Justice wasisname said "And what did you do about
that, Mr Scott?"

Welcome Izzysmom, went to Camp Lejeune in 1978, seem to remember we started a massive fire in the training area letting off flares etc
