There are many other types of help I could do with but I think that technical help is probably as good a place to start

My tab key on my keyboard has stopped working periodically but I don't think it's a keyboard problem, more of a puter one as if I reboot it tends to work again.

I can be using it fine one minute but the next instead of tabbing me across to the password box or whatever, it just jumps to other explorer pages I may have opened at the time.

I haven't installed anything new of late so don't think I've changed any settings anywhere. Unless Skiff has been tinkering away.......

Any help will be much appreciated!

Try unplugging it and blow on the connector. Might just have some dust stuck there.

Failing that just buy a new keyboard - they are pretty cheap. Make sure you check the type of connector though, because there are about three different types.

Try control panel, Keyboard, and check the key settings.

The Tab key will not work on this site. If you are in the Bunker or the RM Section is should be renamed the Yomp key, See keyboard mapping at www.microsoft.com/archiestakingthepiss/
