I'm with Loz on this one. It isn't particularly inspiring and just seems like a neat way of getting the number of personal posts up without a great deal of effort. We all know that there are those whose main aim seems to be rising quickly through the `ranks'. As much as I admire ambition, I had the quaint idea that the forum was for an exchange of views, help and guidance to those who ask for it and a chance to maintain that unique comradeship that those of who have been there still value highly. Sorry if I am mistaken and what we all came here for was to play electronic battleships, charades or whatever.

What I enjoy about being round military people and forums like these is that they tend to understand real life. That comradeship is developed through factual information, sharing of dits, humour and the total belief that there is always someone prepared to help you. This tread wasn't a serious one and neither was it meant to cause contention, however, if you don't like it, don't contribute. I would like to thank the people (brown nosing wink wink :lol!: or is that brown tonguing?

) that host theses forums in allowing me to share my humour, dits and information as and when the thread allows it. It only takes a second to read through some of the threads to understand that it isn't all factual and that sometimes people, military, former military, soon to be military and supporters of the military have the ability to enjoy ...
