Getting back to postings ,
My best was BMH Nairobi Kenya 1962--1964.
Worst I would think was BMH Bengazi,
Libya 1959--1959.

Best posting Sibu, Borneo during the confrontation with the Indos.
Best food (certainly not from the cookhouse0 Sate, (over there it is dog meat). Hundred miles behind the front lines working in the comcen. Off shift at 8am quick breakfast couple hours sleet downtown. Curfew from 10pm to 7am just time to get back for the next shift. Ginger haired local kids (curtesy of 45 Commando I think) Fort knox, so called 'cause she had 100% gold teeth to pay for her funeral. Very friendly local girls. Anything for a meal. Kids walking around with water buffaflo on a yard of string. Orang-utang swinging through the jungle. Might go back there some day if I can pluck up the courage of the long tedious flight.
Great place

Sibu is part of the oil and gas industry now. It was mainly small Kampung style housing, but grew rapidly in the 80s.

Hey Dave welcome aboard mate, do I take it that your Avatar depicts the 74 Tiger Squadron motif, if that's the case I shall have to look out for a Yellow/Black lightning flash or even 3 red crosses, chocks away!

Hi Gary
Nice to meet up.
Dead right mate, the black and yellow pussycat crest is my avatar, at the moment.
I think that you're talking about the one hundred and eleven fighter group badges there mate, I'll e-mail them to you.
