Maybe just leave the egos at the door when posting instead of getting hung up on personality attacks and what not.

The assumption that learning is generally a good thing?

PS No need to call me 'teacher'; 'Supreme Being', 'Omniscient One', perhaps 'God-Emperor', will do quite nicely.

Only a qualified medic can give you the precise details of drugs
and likely re-action thereto. I agree that Mancuniankid would be
100% correct to report substance abuse to his troop officer. And
if I were the officer commanding a recruit troop I would make it
crystal clear from day one that anyone participating in substance
abuse would be discharged immediately. 'No excuse just out'.
Like Foxtrotgolf I deem substance abusers to be pathetic losers.
Even worse in the eyes of today's modern youth I certainly for
one consider recreational substance abusers to be pathetic.
This type of behaviour has no place in the Royal Marines. I served
on a drugs squad in the Far East during the Viet Nam war and saw
the damage that drugs of any shape and form can do to any
human beings Asians, Brits and Americans. Anyone on this forum
claiming that substance abuse is acceptable is in my opinion not fit
to get a chance to join the British forces. They are fortunate that I
am not their recruiting officer.
Here endeth the lesson.

Apart from the obvious ridiculous amounts of weed the US troops smoked its interesting to learn that there was a very high amount of troops that were addicted to heroin.I cant remember the exact percentage but i do remember it was shockingly high. Can you shed any light on this?
