Beautiful!
You know, I thought Gnr Green-green-grass-of-home was a constant source of entertainment. If this guy had been on an SD*** site, he would have spent so long in the EWS, he would have sprouted gills. I am trying not to think of the atrocities that would have come his way from the shifties.
At the W__J__C ahead.... go on!

Why not try the Brownies? You get a spiffing brown uniform and every thursday your Mum can Iron it for You. Just a thought is all.

yes but what you have got to remember here is I (and half the population if not more) would rather be in a combat/feild situation with someone who can shoot correctly and lead a team (and i assure you i can do that) than can write a perfect post...because when it all boils down 'writing' is just a load of bolocks in a war zone...dont you think?!THE MAIN REASON FOR THE FRICKEN ARMY!

come back to us when you have written your first orders for a combat situation then wonderboy.
The fricken army is where you lost us I think, as most of the people responding are RM or RAF and myself, Im exRN.
What is a combat/field situation....is it when we declare war on fields?

well i will have a stab in the dark here and say that a combat siutation is when your in combat, dont know what makes me thing that though?
and a feild situation is when you are in a feild (just another guess there) say on exercise

and plus this is under ARMY discussions so i would think if people wanted to talk about RM or RN they would have the sense to go that section

Gosh Tab lucky beggars aint we!
As long as that lads Ar*e points down he's gonna have problems. Just what the Hell is Speed Typing anyway?
I was wondering if he goes to the same school as
Lee?
Now there was a lad who had me in Tears on more than one occasion! More posts than the GPO. People used to beg him not to reply to their Threads as it was a good bet the thread would die a very quick Death once it had been
"Lee'ed!".
Is it OK for me to post on the Army Forum Tab. Fivers in the post OK?

WJC, you say you want to join the Paras, with your attitude you wouldn't go very far. One thing an officer will need from his men is their respect or your life will be hell, and that goes for whatever regiment you are in.
There are a lot of tough blokes in the Paras and belive me they wouldn't think twice about accidentally rifle butting the back of your head when your out in the 'field' especially as you'll only be wearing one pip on your shoulder for a very long time. You will be the lowest of the low when you come out of sandhurst, even the basic squaddie straight out of training will get more respect than you.
And you say that you can shoot straight and command men, no problem on the range when your targets not moving and not shooting back at you, different matter when you're in a combat situation when the bullets are cracking over your head.
I can see from your posts that you are only about 17/18, glamour of the Paras probably got to you. Think about joining someone else in the Army, you can always get your wings whatever your in.
