There's one in every platoon. They either end up sorting their act out or quitting. My guess is, Brown will quit or be chucked out.

Back in the 1950's Brown would have been slung into the cells, the thing was in those days the time spent in the cells was added to your Service.
It was reckoned that you where not being paid for that time so you where not acting as a Soldier, so the time was added onto your two years. The way some of those people are going on they would be spending the next twenty years in the Army. There was no back chat allowed in those days and pushing a senior NCO could have led to a spell in a military prison, and if you did not comply with the staff their they could keep adding time to your sentance until you got the message. I have seen them make many a real hardcase think twice befor going down that road to often.

I hope he gets a taste of old fashioned Justice from his section its long overdue

I think he would have got a severe beating off the Corporal's and his fellow recruits.

You might like to see it but it wont and can't happen. Under this new regime every one would be in court facing prison and huge damage costs.
You must remeber that this is only a TV show and all those that finish the course will be in for a nice pay day.

I watched that film "Charlie" the other day, about the 60's gangster Charlie Richardson. In the film, he was called up for national service, and he refused to sign the OSA and claimed to be a communist. For his mouth he was sent to prison. People like Brown probably would have done as they were told a bit more if they had the option of the 2 years service or a prison sentence. I know Brown claims he isn't scared of prison, but a scrawny little gobsh*te like him would soon be knocked down a peg or two by "bigger boys"

That new Corporal who in charge of the assault course I think his name is Sheridan-from the Liverpool area- he was in that series COMMANDO on ITV a few years back.

I saw in article in one of my missus's magazines about the Brown brothers. Headline "we're not the Krays." ...... You don't say? You had me going there for a minute, you hard b@#&$rds!!!! I thought Ronnie and Reggie had rose from the dead, It made me sh*t in my boxers, it did.
Anyway, according to the article, the other twin didn't make it to the end, either. There's a surprise. No, the Browns are far too hard for National service.

was he?? he kept that quiet , He was SPSI(WO2) of my Coy a couple of years back bit of a Gym Queen then as well, wouldn't argue with the guy though he is a lot harder than he looks/acts beleive me.
