I''ve just turned 18.

I thought loads of you were well old (at least 25 :) )

But it doesn't seem that way.

I bet half of us haven't even got chest hair!!!

I'm 19, but still look about 12...unfortunate now, but wait til I'm 40!!

Must admit I'm amazed at the number of 16/17 year olds going for PRMC, I was considering a military career back then but wouldn't have gone for the Marines til I was a bit older...which is now. At least you don't have to worry about getting pissed getting in the way of training when you're younger...!!

Flamin eck i'm old i'm 23, all you young pups have got the advantage of not having soaked ya bones in alcohol every weekend for the last seven years, it doesn't really help the training, especially not when ya still do it and then have to train the day after.

SimonM - That's nothing dude! I'm 28 and we even had a 30 year old in our troop. In fact our entire troop was pretty old (i.e. mostly in their 20's). Age is not that important and makes no different in training. However, the hardest thing for me to swallow being an older recruit was the 23:59hrs restriction - but guess what, its only for 30 weeks.
