I give a flying fig about Gibraltar but I wouldn't half mind swapping it with the Spanish if we could have the likes of Luton, Hounslow, Brixton and Bradford back, now that would be a good deal!

LOL..........the sad thing is its true.

At one point roughly a quater of the globe was ours. Now, our once great country, if being flooded, taken over even, by asylum seekers. I think it's a total disgrace. And giving back what colonies we have left, Is the Queen an her govenment out of their tiny little minds? Apparently so!
Thats it, I'm going severe 'right wing' at the next election!

I like the plan this government has to issue 10,000 working visas in Bangladesh, even though there's already about that number of unemployed Bangladeshis over here, and no way of controlling whether or not they leave when their 1 year visa runs out. Now that's a smart plan. Apparently it's to fill jobs that there isn't anyone over here to do.
Like what, exactly?

This is why the BNP are getting so many votes. The government don't listen to us when we complain that there are too many immigrants, so a lot of people are drifting the other way. Unless they want a party like the BNP to gain power (god help us) they need to start LISTENING to people. Either that, or politicians should pay for the asylum seekers out of their own wages, and move them in on THEIR streets. If we don't want to pay for it, WHY SHOULD WE? Oh, you still not listening? F**k it, I'll vote BNP then... (I'm not voting BNP, but you get my drift)

I agree totally on what your saying but I dont think I'd ever vote BNP. You'll just be replacing one asshole with another..........
I think the general direction of politics is wrong, young people dont really give a monkeys who runs the country and the general feeling is 'I wont bother voting because it wont change anything'. Its a sad situation people!
In the old days politicians used to be people with plenty of life experience, take Winston Churchill for example (served in world war 1). Today politicians worm their way in through being educated in politics (or in Tony Blairs case law - yes he is a VERY good liar).
All the 'old school' policians are going, Paddy Ashdown for example used to be in the SBS! No politician is allowed to speak their mind because of 'political correctness', its a stealthy form of FACISM!! Screw those politically correct neo-new-age facists, I'll say what the hell I want.
Rant over. lol........

Read in the old Grauniad today that Gibraltar is now a high-risk terror target. Royal navy is sending some more fast patrol boats over there to guard against speedboats from morocco, where 3 AlQuaida suspects were arrested recently. They were looking around for boats to buy.
