As for needing to practise doing my laces up, I did find the old Boots Combat High to be a bit of a pain in the ar$e when they were really cold and wet on exercise. Failed at what? You really are a prat. As for Paras not being known for their intellect, funny how my English is far better than yours.

As for being cowardly, how is that? I just thought everyone else would be bored of a public slagging match. And obviously private messages are meant to be just that, as Wholley has pointed out.

For crying out loud Ronnie you are a Sgt in one of the most respected Platoons in the British Army, Pathfinder. I once watched a program about selection and how many go on to the SAS. It went on to explain how it was considered to be an elite within an elite and even had some symmetry for selection. I currently work with an Ex 2 Para and in the past an Ex Pathfinder at another job.

Yet your can not handle a little banter. Mate if you don’t like receiving it then please don’t dish it out as you are making yourself sound and read like a prat. I half expected you to send me a PM asking for a fight. No disrespect but Para’s seems to always say things like mong and Crap hats and its lame.

As for the English lesson. I already taught you, how easy it is to pull you on your gammon If I had the inclination, i.e. starting a sentence with And.

Not taking sides (as far as I can tell it's two army chaps just being army chaps), but with regards to the PM issue. Just because someone chooses to use the PM facility, there is no guarantee of confidentiality. I have made this clear on an earlier thread. If someone transgresses the bounds of civility by PM they automatically forfeit any confidentiality that might have been expected or implied.

The other 50% come from where. I would take a bet that a majority of them but not all are from other Infantry Regiments and there is my point about crap hats and the other mong comments. If the Para’s were always the best all the time then it would be 100% don’t you think?

I was not commenting over "who is the best" or not, as that has been beaten to death in god knows how many forums.

There are plenty of savvy lads in the para reg. Whether others choose to think differently; that's up to them.
