As I'm not applying until 1st September, and God knows how long applications take to get from there to PRMC, when I get a bit fitter I might PM you and see if you're interested in going for a run sometime, here's assuming you live somewhere within Cheshire. Everyone around here thinks I'm some sort of masochist for attempting to join The Royals, would be nice to get some extra motivation nearer the time!
I'm a stoke lad my self but I will be going collage there, as for phys sessions I’m always up for a spot so maybe when I’m at collage give us a shout and I’ll meet up sometime, sure mike would tag along too?

Just fancied sometime to enjoy my self (not that I wont enjoy my self in the Marines but just spend some more time as a teenager doing all the usual clubbing, gigs, drinking etc) plus get a few qualifications while I’m at it :P.

I decided on a sports course with my career after the marine in mind... when ever that may be. I'd love to go into Coaching or PT work maybe, you know telling rich celebrities to do some pres ups and getting paid mega bucks... that kind of thing 8) :P

I also understand you can't go to a war zone until my 18th anyways so little point in me join up at 16.

Women, parties and plenty of sports is my action plan for the next 2 years :D

Collage , college meh ... And on another note Stokey, you say your doing a sports course, I'll give you a bit of advice ...Dont. Worst thing ive done i'd rather do foundation 10 times over. Its the most mundane , boring and pointless course i've ever done .
For example... for one of my assignments i wrote abote a 6 week training program that i didn't even do and then i had to write about what changes i could make or do a poster full of cut out internet clippings.

Was that the sport science ? Because I’m probably going to be doing the sports recreation as I doubt I will get all the grades needed for the sport science + it is a lot more practical according to the collage.

I no it my be boring but it's inline with what I would fancy after the forces and after all it is only two years, I find all the biomechanics, nutrition etc fascinating anyways and there was nothing else that caught my eye.

I did Nd in Sports and i have other friends who did sports science and the more practical one . Honestly mate 90% of the course join because they want to waste another 2 years doing nothing there isn't many your age that actually enjoy taking part in practical sport .Throughout mine and all the previous course in the whole two years i did about 10 practical lessons and as for body in action (inside and out of body) you do a month of it and its no more detailed then gcse P.E. If i was you i would do an a level in sport and two other subjects as the people on a level sport seem to be more determined and less immature.Just my bit of advice as i wouldn't want you wasting two years.
