Am I right in assuming the Commandos are the only force in the mil that does shooting after Fizz?

If you're talking about the Endurance test, then yes. After running the course on Woodbury you will have to run back to CTC and then get 6 out of 10 shots on a target representing a fig 11 at 200m. Get 5 or less and, regardless of completing it in the time, you will have failed and will have to re-do it.

Just wait until your POC/PRMC, when the PTI's shouted that in my face on the endurance course it worked a treat for me

As part of the Army's Combat Infantrymans Course there used to be a march and shoot competition that involved a tab of about 9 miles followed by a shoot on the ranges. The shoot involved dashing forward 100 metres everytime a target popped up before engaging it. At one point respirators also had to be donned within the required 9 seconds. I don't know if they still do this but I believe so. This type of training can be very beneficial and quickly shows who will remain effective after physical exertion.
