Correction: Roll on France, NZ got knocked out by France earlier
Well I didn't see that one coming either...all of a sudden we've got a real chance of getting to the final again :o :lol:

See Fiji giving the Boks a good going over earlier? Every quarter final's been fantastic so far, tho you have to fancy the Saffas to thrash Scotland/Argentina.

OZ tv advert for the Series shows them all serious, watching England celebrate last time. Greagan giving Johnny daggers as the voice over says " Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten Cold" 8) They`ll have to stick it back in the fridge a bit longer then, hey :P

We just got in from Bali ten minutes till kick off and the Aussie sms started, "now it`s our turn" they chorused.
Your turn to get dicked, losers, was my reply 8)

Me oppo from Bali was sms ing me and his brother who was at the West Brom- Aston Villa game. They were singing Swing Low at the match as the result was announced!

I thought England had improved throughout the series in a way the Aussies hadn`t and genuinely thought they could beat the whining wobblys again. Five minutes into the game and I knew it 8) Sure, there were a few fumbles and missed trys, sure Johhny missed a couple of kicks, but the determination to win was stamped on every England move and the Wallabys did what they always do when faced with such determined opposition. They wrapped their tits in 8) When they are winning they are very hard to overcome. If those two kicks had gone in during the first half then the second half would`ve been a wave-off for the Aussies, that`s the game though isn`t it?
A win is a win all the same and no hard feelings to the proud Wallabys, they did their best and
IT WASN`T GOOD ENOUGH, YOU LOSERS
Er, no offence :P

Well done Kermit for showing the Kiwis what you think of their Haka 8)
I wouldn`t want to be an All-Black going through Auckland airport after last time they went home from a World Cup as
LOSERS

Er, don`t get too excited Kermit, it`s your turn next Saturday 8)

RSA nearly lost it in the second half when Fiji came at them and scored two tries with 14 men in about ten minutes! Awesome stuff. Argentina have deservedley been ranked number four in the IRB ratings but anything can happen. An England Scotland final is not entirely out of the question!

Oh dear 8)

Aussies and Kiwis have both sacked their coaches as the blame-fest increases 8)
Kiwis have never been sent home so early, still never mind it`s only a game. Ha :P

Enjoy this vid for Bundy rum, (bundy is the worst rum in the world according to this c/s :roll: ) We wouldn`t suck at sport hey? 8)

Tab,
Australia and NZ have never both been knocked out at this stage.
NZ have reached at least the semis in every tournament. Australia didn't make the semis in 1995 (I can't remember who beat them in the quarter final!)

My current prediction is an England win over France, but a very close one.
RSA will get a win over Argentina, and it'll be an England Vs RSA final with the South Africans coming out on top.

So, what`s the odds on England V the Argentine in the final 8)

Kermit will take a spanking tomorrow, they don`t like it up `em, Mister Mainwaring 8)
We`ve got the first hot day of spring, low thirtys, so we`ll be offski for a full day in the bush from brekkers onward. Then after a few wets, a swim in me pool and a kip, I`ll be watching with glee as Agincourt, Crecy, Waterloo and Trafalgar get a replay 8)

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Watched the game Tab.
Finally Wilkinson came up with a couple of good kicks.
Robinson played a blinder in my opinion.
Got to get used to this game again having lived in the US for so long.
Atlanta Braves didn't make the play-off's :( (Not that anyone else would be interested) :wink:
