Military Mates sounds good to me too as it doesn't sound too "welfare-ish". It hasn't got the ring of some senior officers wife doinger her bit for "the chaps".

All initial contact will be sent through us. After that if the soldier can decide if he wants to keep that up or allow direct contact.

We'll also be asking those wanting to volunteer for proof of ID aswell. If they're genuine they shouldnt mind doing so.
